How I miss those chubby cheeks!

Something that makes me smile and usually tear up as well is looking through pictures on my computer. I always have an internal or often external sign at how cute my boys are. We cut Trent's hair again last week and it always makes me a little sad because they always seem to grow up right before your eyes when you do. But as a happy thought I just thought I would post some older pictures of the boys that make me smile!

Five months along and my Second Ultrasound

So it turns out I needed to have a second ultrasound. My baby has a two vessel Umbilical Cord. This could mean problems with growth and or possibilities of some heart problems but my doctor assured me that this is very common and there is no indication at this point of a problem. But as a normal precaution I had to have an Eco ultrasound which basically double checks the flow of blood. I will probably have to have another ultrasound further along but as long as my baby girl is healthy I don't mind seeing her. That is the really exciting thing about the second ultrasound, they confirmed I am having a girl. YAY! Also I should mention no indication after the second ultrasound that there are any problems either. So I have another 4 months to go before we meet our princess (no names picked out yet) but I am sure they are going to fly by. Now I get to plan out decorations for her room.

It's a ???? hopefully a girl ???

Well in case you didn't know I am having another baby. My due date is June 12Th (Kerri's Birthday). I had my 18 week ultrasound today and well for the first time we got an unsure answer as to the sex of the baby. The technician said she was leaning towards a girl. YAY for the possibility of a girl. I have been so set on it being a boy, just because I don't want to be disappointed so I am really happy just to have the hope. So I won't go crazy with buying girl clothes just yet, maybe just one or two. But.. YAY, I am really excited. Just on a side note, I love my boys to death and wouldn't trade them for girls!

Pancakes anyone?

So one of the biggest reasons I never seem to get my house clean is one word, or person I should say Trenton! He get's into everything, all the time just in spite of me. Such as here...

So last week Jonathan went down to the store to pick up some food for supper. I went up stairs with Josh for a few minutes, and it was too quiet! Trent decided to get into the pantry and since pictures are worth a thousand words I'll let them do the talking.

Little messy footprints leading to?

Pancakes and Syrup of course!

All smiles (he loves getting into trouble)

What do you all think? Did Trenton want pancakes for supper, I think so.

Christmas Card 2010

So sorry to any of you who did not get a printed copy (Erin, you especially I had one sitting with your name on it but we forgot to give it to you!). I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, we sure did!

My Headboard!

So I have had in my head (for about 3 years) a plan to make an up-holstered headboard. I knew what I wanted it to look like I knew what colors I wanted. So one day just after Crate and Barrel opened in Southcenter my husband and I were just browsing around (of course I instigated the browsing) and I found this beautiful bench for the end of the bed, and I started to say "This is the kind of fabric I want for my hea..." As I turned around to tell Jon this, my jaw dropped because behind me was my headboard. Everything I wanted with a $1799.00 price tag! OUCH!

So I went about to find a way to making one for a cheaper price. We went to fabricland and found some nice neutral fabric but when I went home I discovered it didn't match my bedspread and bed skirt. That is how the re-upholstery of my chair started. The material was perfect downstairs with my couch and curtains. So the headboard project was on hold until we finished the chair, but we still had the issue of not having material. Then one night as I was looking at my bed skirt I said to myself I wish I had left over material from this (My mom made my Bed skirt too). Well I just happened to look at my mom's house and we had just barely enough to finish it. THANKS to Jonathan and My mom for all your help, and Dad and Brad too. Jonathan basically built the headboard for me and put on the tacks, and did a fantastic job! I love love love how it turned out and am so excited to make my bed everyday.
